Bring on Fall
I really love this time of year. Fall has always been full of fun memories; birthdays, football, pumpkins to name a few.
Fall colors are just so warm and cozy and I love adding touches around my house. This year I really tried to keep it simple. I typically add the garland on top of my mantel but this year I decided to try command hooks underneath and I really like the way this turned out.
I added a few new items from Hobby Lobby including this adorable little truck Carly picked out.
This new word art block was also perfect and yes, my candy dish is full of pumpkin spice latte M&M’s. Bonus they have lasted because the men in my life don’t touch them!
Even though we rarely have anyone come through our front door, I still love decorating my entry way. In the past I have filled my vases with corn for the fall but in the spirit of keeping it simple I left the candles as is. Sand was already in my large vase with a little deer moss on top and I think it worked out well.
Decorating my bookcases is always so tough for me. Adding just a few little touches here and there dressed it up a bit for fall.
My sweet friend Kelli made me the chalkboard sign for Christmas last year and it was fun attempting to include it in my fall decor. I still have a long way to go with chalkboard art! I am also loving the combo of blues with the orange I’ve seen everywhere and I have several pieces from when I was a Southern Living hostess. Incorporating the canister into my decor to make a centerpiece for my kitchen table turned out so cute.
Are you excited about fall? What is your favorite way to add some color to your home?

I love the blue and orange. It makes it look very fresh. Sometimes all the warm colors of fall decor can be a little much. My house looks like an explosion of orange and gold…good idea to add a touch of cool blue to lighten it up. Have a great day!
I love all your Fall touches!! I heart owls big time so that candle holder is precious and so is the green pumpkin!!! Great job, such a homey and cozy feel!!! Happy Thursday!
I fell in love with owls a few years back and I'm glad they are still somewhat in style.
Your fall decor is beautiful!! I love how you placed everything, it looks so put together!
Thank you Molly!
Wow I am loving this entire fall set up, this is beautiful for a living room. I love how you did your bookcase too even though you said you never know what to do with it.

Your coming to my house next, right? Andrea never showed up, so I guess that means you're next on the list! I've got to get my fall mojo on, but I keep asking myself, do I REALLY wanna take all this crap down in another two months to get ready for Christmas? Bah humbug is me! Love your front entry table!
LOVE your decor! I'm actually heading out to Hobby Lobby/Michaels today to stock up – I think that little truck will be coming home with me 🙂 Thanks for linking up with us!

Thanks Jaymie!
Everything looks so pretty! You did a great job on your bookcases. Love that you've incorporated your family pics. Some people seem to not do that and that's my favorite. 🙂
I'm the same Stacey! Pictures of my family and subway art….I could seriously decorate my entire house with those two things!
I have been in a major Fall mood this week!! Loving all of your decor, looks beautiful. Hope you had a great week!
