Easy Layered Look – Style Six
This time of year I feel like I keep repeating myself, but fall in Texas is all about an easy layered look. I’m always looking for easy ways to take a few pieces in my existing closet and create a look that works for a full day from the brisk morning through the sunshine in the afternoon and on into a cool evening. Here is an outfit I was super excited to pull together.
Is 50 too old for faux leather leggings? Well if it is I’m breaking all the rules! I love these leggings and, honestly, right now as I’m battling some pudge in my middle and hip area, they really make me feel more confident. I definitely feel like I don’t have to worry about things rolling out of place when I’m sporting these. If you have been eyeing for a bit but missed purchasing during the Nsale, you can shop for 15% off with this code.
I took a simple white button down and popped it on top along with my fave distressed denim jacket. This look seemed pretty plain so I added these animal print booties to give it a little more interest. My booties were part of the Nsale and I am loving how comfortable they are and they are currently marked down 40% again.
A scarf to me is one of the easiest ways to add some spunk to an otherwise boring look. I love this one because it leans toward fall colors but is a gauzy fabric so it isn’t too warm. Mixing browns and blacks together is something I’ve come to love.
Y’all saw my early fall look from Monday so clearly I’m having a moment with this black hat. I’m definitely looking for an excuse to wear it somewhere fun!
I love how this outfit came together and it really didn’t take a ton of planning. My closet needs to be reorganized right now something terrible and I’m hoping to get to that this weekend. Bring on the fall looks!
