Dressed Up Stitch Fix Review
In February I shared a Spring Stitch Fix review which was definitely my best fix yet! Stitch Fix has been a hit or miss for me since receiving my first box years back. After reading lots of reviews and revising my profile many, many times I think I have finally created the perfect recipe for receiving a great fix. I really was hesitant to add lots of notes in the past but now I add as many words as I can both when ordering my fix and when returning items to help my stylist know my fit and style better each time. Most importantly be sure to add your price points!
So what did I ask for in my latest fix? With Easter arriving soon I asked for a few dresses and also some items I could wear to work. My work wardrobe has seemed a little boring lately and I was ready for some new pieces. I also asked for a pair of sandals to try. Let’s take a look at what was in my box!

First up was this Collective Concepts Katelynn Dress. I absolutely loved the pattern as soon as I saw it! The colors were perfect for me. I decided to try dressing it up a little first and thought these fun shoes were the perfect pattern mix.
I loved the material but the fit was a little off. It’s possible a size smaller might have worked better.
I decided to try dressing it down with a pair of simple sandals but added a little fun with a hat. After multiple times trying this on, I returned.
Next up were these pants and I have to admit I was a little iffy about them from the start. You guys, they are PULL ON and so comfortable! I love how they look with this bright top and my nude flats.
This red, white and blue look is also fun. In the end I returned these as I just wasn’t quite sure for the money I was ready to commit. The brand is Margaret M. which I had never heard of before but they are pretty darn fabulous and fun. After checking out the brand online there are many slimming pant styles to choose from. I’m questioning my decision after looking at these pictures but these were returned
This top! I was in love as soon as it popped out of the box. The color is beautiful and it was the same brand, Current Air, as one of my favorite tops from my last fix. It has lace detail to make it just feminine enough and it would be great for a girls night out or under a jacket dressed up for work. Sadly, the back just did not fit well. It was buttoned down the back and where the banding met at the bottom it buckled on me. I’m sure this was a result of my super short waist but I was super sad. Had this top fit I may have kept the entire box! In the end it was returned.
This Wisp scuba dress is just the kind of look I could have been found wearing to work a few years back. I love, love, love this look but wasn’t sure it would work for me these days. I’m so glad I tried it anyway! After showing it off on my insta-stories everyone was pretty much sold on this dress too.
Now, let’s just say there may be some Spanx involved but this dress made me feel great! I’m envisioning layering with a white faux leather jacket in my closet and rocking this for a conference in May which I’m co-chairing. I hope you will agree this was a keeper!
Stitch Fix is a splurge for me but I really love receiving some items that 1) I didn’t have to spend my time shopping for and 2) that are a little different than something I would have picked and 3) the items are usually something I cannot just pick up.
Have you tried Stitch Fix?

I agree with your choices, that blue dress is fabulous on you!!!!! I have never tried Stitch Fix, mostly because I shop online so much for myself and if I added it to the mix it would just be more money I’d be spending, lol! Happy Tuesday!

Kellyann
Totally understand that Kellyann! I typically grab a fix when I’m not having any luck finding things to make a statement in my closet and it’s a fun little surprise to come home to.
I love that first dress. I know you weren’t so sure but I think it had a ton of potential.
I definitely considered asking for it in a medium…there Wes’s just too much material in some places and it wasn’t fitting well. But I totally agree with you…this dress was incredibly versatile!
I really love the first dress and it looks like it fit well. But I’m all about comfort and anything that requires wearing Spanx is an automatic ‘no’ to me….although you do look magnificent in the scuba dress. It is so flattering on you. I also love the pull on pants. I have been buying my fair share of those lately. So comfy!
Amy I typically am anti spanx and in fact didn’t even own any until this dress. I realized I’ve missed wearing dresses like this at work once I tried this one. Definitely will not be wearing spanx on the daily but I’m super excited about this one! And pull on pants…I was definitely impressed!
Good to hear! The feminist deep inside of me refuses to succumb to wearing Spanx. I have always found it ironic that we are shocked at how the Chinese would bind women’s feet to make them smaller or the tight corsets women use to wear back in the day to make their waists smaller, and yet women are still suffering today with Spanx, wire bras, and heels that are bad for the feet. Granted the Spanx and heels are no where near as bad as corsets and foot binding, but it’s still suffering for beauty’s sake, which I don’t like.
I haven’t tried StitchFix but I love all of the pieces I see in reviews. Love the dress, the print is beautiful.

Pumps and Push-Ups
It is a fun splurge here and there Brooke.
Love your dresses! They did a great job! I’ve usually had really good luck with them but my last one was a flop. I need to try them again!
I had several flops over the years Laura so I totally get that. I finally found a stylist who “gets” me I think so I’ve made sure to request her every time.
The dress you kept is perfect and I can see you killing it at the conference in that baby!
Hoping if I work hard I might even be able to skip the spanx by then. 🙂
This really was a good stitch fix box! My favorite is the first dress, and that’s too bad that the fit wasn’t quite right. Everything looks great though, and the last dress is a stunner. You will really be able to create lots of versatile looks with it! Glad you had a good box…it makes the mail so fun!!
Happy mail is definitely my favorite! I really was sad about that first dress….there was something just off and I’m really trying not to keep anything I don’t absolutely love.
I am so glad you kept that dress – it was made for you!! Stunning as usual my friend!
It makes me feel like the uber motivated career girl I was in my 20’s! haha
I LOVE that dress! It looks great and is so different!!
Thank you Laura! I can’t wait to wear it.
I love that navy dress! My stitch fix has been on hold the past two months but I think I may reactivate it because I have seen some really cute outfits lately!
Yes…I’m going to have to take a pause now! I haven’t had much luck with the online shopping I’ve done on my own so I don’t feel too terribly bad…but we are doing some stuff to the house so I need to reel it on it. 🙂
I love the first and the last dress! They look fantastic on you!
Thanks Stefanie! I can’t wait to wear it.
I agree that last dress was flattering and beautiful color combo!
Thank you Nicole!
Yes yes yes to that scuba dress! It’s a classic! Also, you’ve shown that navy blazer a few times now- do tell where it is from please! I need a nice fitted blazer that I can wear for work or dress down with jeans.
Thank you Allie. It is actually black and has been in my closet for probably 5 years…it is from Black House White Market and they always have cute blazers.
Love pink and navy. Everything looked cute on you!
Thanks Lisa! I can hardly wait to wear it.
I need to get better about communicating with my stylist. I love getting my Stitch Fix but it’s very hit and miss for me. I’m so glad you kept the dress – it’s stunning on you!
It took me forever Lana! I really just started spilling every detail and stopped worrying about whether or not I was hurting their feelings lol.
These pieces are so cute! I love the first dress so much!
I did too Becky….so sad it didn’t work. Hope you are having a super week.
You got great pieces in your stitch fix box. I love the pull on pants – so cute. It’s interesting that looking at photos sometimes makes us realize if something works or doesn’t work…
The dress you kept is unique and beautiful. You look absolutely gorgeous!

Thank you Andrea! I seriously have an entirely new opinion of pull on pants…I definitely think I will have some in my future!
The dress you kept is really cute! Glad you liked something from your box! I am getting my Stitch Fix shipment soon, and am looking forward to it!
It’s always a fun little surprise isn’t it Lauren? Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
I think you kept the perfect thing!! Looks great!
Thanks Sarah!
That dress is so pretty and unique, too! I love the bold pink stripe that goes down it. I also love those plaid patterned pants. I don’t have any patterned pants yet! I need to do a Stitch Fix next month, it has been awhile!

Thanks Stacey!
Those gingham pants are adorable! I’m also loving that second dress – it looks amazing on you!

Doused In Pink
Thanks Jill. I’m hoping if I keep working hard maybe I can toss the spanx before I actually wear it. 🙂 Hope you have a super Tuesday!
Loving all your looks! Thank you so much for linking up!

All of your pieces are great but that Katelyn dress is my fav! Gosh, girl, you wear it so well!! Just bought a tunic with a very similar print and colors. Wish I had those great heels to wear with my top. I have only done two Stitch Fixes but your great success and tips for adding thorough notes has tempted me to try again.
