December Stitch Fix – Style Six

· ·

My October Stitch Fix was a bit of a flop so I sent the entire thing back and promptly requested a new one with a little more detail. I really haven’t had a flop in awhile so I was curious how the next box would measure up. I have to say I’m excited to share!

If you are new to Stitch Fix, it’s a style service where you receive 5 items to try based upon a profile you set up. You have the opportunity to give feedback on your style and send back anything you don’t love. Sometimes it’s defintiely harder than others to make a final decision but I love receiving something unexpected I didn’t have to shop for myself.

So let’s take a look at what my latest box held shall we?

Stitch Fix Try On #stitchfix #getstyled

I really, really, really tried to save the best for last but I just couldn’t y’all! As soon as I saw this skirt I was so optimistic. This is the second time I’ve received this brand and I love that they pull on; no zipper to deal with. Because of that it is also perfectly stretchy which is perfect for my curvy hips.

If you head to my instagram Stitch Fix highlights you can see how I styled this a couple of ways but I was super excited with this look! I ordered this red top back when it launced but had yet to try it . As soon as I remembered I realized it was a meant to be!

The top is from Cassie’s latest Gibson collab and I honestly cannot believe it’s still stocked. It is so super cute and perfect for the holidays!

So, spoiler alert, I kept this skirt!! I did exchange it for a size up and need to try it to compare but it is very likely going to make it’s way to our first holiday party this Friday! I am stil debating what shoes to pair with this look and just wasn’t sure my neutral heels would work. Thoughts?

This sweater was much cuter on! It was soft and perfect with jeans or my faux leather leggings. The look with my leggings was so darn cute it almost convinced me it was a keeper! In the end I decided it was just not worth the price as I have sweaters smilar to this color.

They also sent me the white jeans and while I’m all about wearing white after Labor Day, I just don’t really need a pair right now. That being said, I do love the Just Black brand as they have great stretch and good rise.

So this black sweater was lightweight which is great for Texas and had the cutest sleeves….but….it was really long. I have it tucked up a bit here but it was really a more fitted sweater and it just did not work as it hit at my widest part of my hips.

I know, I know….THESE SHOES are so cute! Everytime I wear them or show them on Instagram someone I receive multiple questions. Sadly they are from the 2018 Nsale so they are no longer available. I do love this brand and every pair I’ve ever ordered has been top quality and lasted a really long time and I’m major hard on shoes! I always love their little details like this loafer which is adorable!

Last item was this darling dress! Can you see the detail on the sleeves? So cute! If I was my best self right now I can tell you this dress would have been a keeper but right now I just know I would not have had the confidence to rock it like it deserves!

The items in this fix were a bit more pricey than my last few so I was sure to make some notes on my return. While I do typically pay a little more for items through Stitch Fix, I know the pieces will be somewhat unique and I won’t risk running into several others sporting the same look. See all my Stitch Fix reviews here.

You can always try your first Stitch Fix using my code for $25 off. It is a process to really communicate with the stylist and receive a quality fix, in your price range, that works for your body type but I have been ordering off and on since it first began and it’s just a fun treat to me!

My favorite look from last week comes from Karen of Lady in Violet and her chic office holiday party outfit. Everything about this outfit is just so classy yet edgy with a hint of romance. I love it and she wears it so well!
