Currently October – Style Six Linkup
October has arrived! Too bad Texas has not gotten the fall memo and, y’all, the heat just does not make it fun to shoot outfits or even want to put on anything cute for fall. So currently, I’m sharing this look from a few weeks back that I shopped from my closet. Hopefully next week I will bring some fall inspiration for ya!
I’m also joining Anne for Currently October and sharing what I’m arranging, loving, embracing, purchasing and sharing!
Arranging all the details for my 50th birthday party later this month! There is still a lot to do and I have the tendency to get stuck down in the details and not be able to see the big picture. Wish me luch that I pull it all together as we also leave for a little vacation on the 10th!!
Loving the current forecast! It looks like our first little cool down is expected by next week and I’m so excited. Highs in the lower 80’s and some chillier evenings with low humidity will be such a welcome change from our 90 degree fall.
Embracing senior year the best I can. It’s Dillon’s last year at home and I think I forgot just how busy that can be. Trying to keep a senior on task when they are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel is no joke! Right now he’s definitely embracing all the fun stuff about senior year like dressing up for theme days and being an avid supporter at the football games while I’m stressing over his college application!!
Purchasing a few new fall pieces like this corduroy skirt. After seeing both Andrea and Kellyann show off theirs I have been on the hunt. I’m also really wanting to pull the trigger on these slouchy boots but still searching for a more resonably priced pair.
Sharing the Bible Recap just one more time! While I’ve been reading along since January with the full chronological bible in a year, the New Testament began yesterday and will complete through December 31st. If you have ever wanted to dig in deeper this plan has been so helpful for me!
Now on to the fun of the Style Six linkup! My favorite from last week was sweet Jennie of Pocketful of Polka Dots. Her outfit looks so precious on her and is the perfect look for warmer fall days. The rust color is one of my very faves this time of year!
