It’s the first Wednesday of the month so I’m joining Anne of In Residence to share what I’m doing currently.

Anticipating so many things which I’m positive is causing my current brain fog. I’m mostly anticipating Riley leaving for spring training on Friday. While we are all super excited for him, not knowing when we will see him again over the next 8+ months is always a little sad.

Going to be spending lots of time at either a ballpark or a dance competition for the next few months. High school baseball kicked off last Friday and Carly danced in her first of 4 dance competitions for the spring. We have trips to plan for Orlando, Atlanta and Albuquerque over the summer and I need to get busy making some reservations!

Making my favorite lasagna recipe! My kids love this lasagna and often request it so I decided to pull it together while Riley is still home. Y’all, if you didn’t see my insta-story last night it’s worth a view. I ran to pick up Carly from dance and asked Riley to remove the lasagna from the oven. I was quite surprised when I pulled off the foil.

Watching the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The language is quite harsh so it’s definitely rated R but I just think she is the most adorable thing. I want all her clothes and may have totally ordered this dress on sale yesterday because it made me think of her.
