Friends, today is the LAST day of February! How in the world. I need it to slow down a bit if I’m going to set some sort of record this year for the number of books read. Today I’m sharing my February book review.
Before the Fall sucked me in from page one even though I basically knew what was to occur. Learning about all the characters and their lives before the plane crash was so engaging to me. Following the survivors after the crash and anxiously awaiting the outcome of the crash investigation was enough to keep me turning the pages. I finished this book while I was on a plane oddly enough and I really loved it.
After finishing Before the Fall I started three other books I just could not get into before finding The Woman in Cabin 10. I was sucked in immediately and ended up loving this book even more than Before the Fall. The twist was so much bigger than I expected and I was so shocked! This one was a little more suspenseful and definitely harder for me to figure out. I’m thinking I need to consider her book In a Dark, Dark Wood next.

You should read Behind Closed Doors! Loved it!
We read the Woman in Cabin 10 for book club. It received mixed reviews. Most felt the ending was weak. If you loved it and haven't read the Couple Next Door, most thought it was much better. We are currently reading Night of Fire by Colin Thubron.
I added both of these to my list of books I want to read!
The Woman in Cabin 10 is on my list… now if only I had time to read more than one book every 3 months! Haha.
Stopping by from Tuesday Talk! I read In a Dark, Dark Wood and I loved it! The Woman in Cabin 10 is next on my list, after I finish The Orphan Train.
Thanks for stopping by Stefanie! I'm adding to my list now!
Enjoy those little kids….you will have plenty of time to read when they are teenagers and ignore you! haha
I am reading Truly, Madly, Guilty right now and I"m so drawn in but on chapter 22 and the end is nowhere in sight!! It's driving me nuts.
Adding it to Goodreads now! Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not a very deep reader and I'm sure it takes a lot less to entertain me than avid readers for sure.
Thanks for the suggestion! Adding to my Goodreads.
Wait…which author? I'm seeing several books with this title.
I just bought The Woman in Cabin 10 but haven't started it yet – it sounds so good!
I loved it Lana! Hope you do too.
Hey sweetness. I'm finally getting into Truly Madly Guilty after 16 chapters LOL!
I know what you mean because I just read that book! Don't worry you'll figure out what happened soon.
I liked Before The Fall too and I've heard such mixed reviews for The Woman in Cabin 10 that I'm passing on it for a bit longer. Did you read The Girl On The Train? I wonder what your opinion of that was compared to The Woman in Cabin 10. I just don't know what to do with myself over that book! haha
Haha, yes I read The Girl on the Train and I did not think the Woman in Cabin 10 was nearly as demented. I did love the Woman in Cabin 10 slightly more than Before the Fall though. I've heard great things about her other book In the Dark, Dark Woods so that may be next.
Lordy….I'm on chapter 22….and that sounds like ALOT and I still feel like I'm just being strung along!!
I'm so intrigued by The Woman in Cabin 10. It sounds like a great read. I'm adding that one to my list for sure!! 🙂
YOU are a brave soul to read After the Fall on a plane, given it's plot! Both of these books sound like something I would like to try. I have been downloading samples to my Nook before I commit to buying the book so heading over to B&N now to get these samples. Would love to have you join us for The Blended Blog virtual book club!!
I have to get The Woman in Cabin 10 – sounds perfect!
I liked The Woman in Cabin 10 — it definitely had me second guessing myself constantly. I wonder what Dark, Dark Wood is about; I can imagine I will like that book as well! I will have to check out After the Fall as well!
Me too McKenzie! I loved it. I am reading two books right now and both are going way too slow. I need to make time to finish them soon and then I am totally checking out her other read.
I really did love it Kellyann.
Haha…I know right?!! I have considered joining….I'm weird about making a commitment like that. I'm working on starting a book club at work right now and that is going to be a stretch for me.
I hope you love it Laura!
