All About Love – TBB Asks Linkup
It’s the month of love and The Blended Blog has a super fun prompt for you today! Come along and answer these questions, link up and take some time to learn about a few others.
One | I’m a hugger but I’m a kisser too. I’m not sure which I would choose but I kiss my husband, my kids, my friends. I had a friend once who was so freaked out that I kissed my kids on the lips but I don’t even give it a second thought.
Two | I would choose flowers over candy every single day! I love fresh flowers.
Three | I love baking but only during the Christmas holidays. The rest of the year I’m 100% about cooking and Keith and I love cooking dinner together. Cooking allows for alot more creativity than baking!
Four | Oh do I remember my first kiss. I was in the 7th grade at get together at one of my parents friends. While the parents were having their good time us kids were in a back room playing spin the bottle. Oh Chris Torres was just the best kisser ever and I seriously think I held every kiss forward to a high standard.
Five | I love peach roses. My daddy always sent peach roses to my momma because they were her favorite and they remind me of the love they once had for each other.
Six | Umm….unless I’m adding them to a vase or using them for a picture I really see no use in conversation hearts. Ick.
Seven | We had some super fun years where I was a total Pinterest mom and left love notes and treats every day for my kids and Keith. Then we spent several years with little mailboxes where we took turns writing each other love notes. Feeling a little sad we’ve let this tradition die.
Eight | I typically add some love touches but this year it is very, very sparse. I’ve compensated by buying fresh flowers.
Nine | Red it appears as all of my decorations which are out are definitely red.
Ten | I’m a sucker for dove dark chocolate.
Eleven | I believe in lust at first sight!
Twelve | I’m probably in the minority for most women but I really do think the humorous cards are my favorite.
Thirteen | Oh gosh there are so many I love but if I go with the first two to come to my mind were Sweet Home Alabama and 27 Dresses. Loved them both and could watch 100 times over.
Fourteen | Definitely staying in unless it’s a weekend and then finding a romantic getaway would be on my mind.
Now it’s your turn so answer the questions, give a shout out to The Blended Blog and linkup!
I’m always up for a weekend away!… but that so rarely happens.
The Dove dark chocolate is one of my faves, as well. Enjoy your week.
Those roses are gorgeous! I’ve never seen 27 Dresses so clearly I need to remedy that asap! 😉 Wishing you a sweet upcoming Valentine’s Day, friend!
You are just precious as can be and I bet you give the BEST hugs! Were your ears burning yesterday? I was telling my husband about your sweet advice after talking about baseball and work of all things and I told him your Riley and Dillion are studs! Ahhh completely forgot about peach roses…beautiful! And so are you!
I’m with you on conversation hearts…ick. Dove dark chocolate though, now that I can get behind. 🙂 I love the idea of having little mailboxes to leave love notes in–that’s so fun!
Those peach roses are gorgeous. This is just my favorite linkup of the month…it’s always so fun to see everyone’s answers. Hope you have a wonderful week!
Naturally we share so many of the same answers. I’d have been surprised if we didn’t. Happy Monday! XO
Oh my goodness, the story about your first kiss, too cute! And what a great idea to have little mailboxes to leave each other notes!
I wonder why anybody would think it was weird that you kiss your kids on the lips?? I kiss both of mine on the lips and I don’t see that stopping any time soon!
Loved reading your answers!
Loved reading about why you love peach roses – how sweet!!!When I was answering some of these questions I felt a little sad that we let some things go that we used to do but I guess we have new things to take their place. If V-day was a weekend I’d be all about a getaway!!!
xo,
Kellyann
SO sweet about the peach roses. Those are really nice and you don’t see them often. I hope to get to hug you in october!!!
My family kisses too so I’m glad we’re not the only ones!! And I love both of those movies you listed! I’m a sucker for a good rom-com 🙂

My parents always kissed me on the lips and still do, so you are not alone in that one. I love Dove dark chocolate too!
Lust at first sight, YES! It can totally lead to love I suppose, but yeah, I’m not buying that it at first. I need to smooch my girls more often that way they don’t grow out of it, lol. That would break my ever lovin heart.
Loving all the smooching in grade 7 that is happening in these posts!
Fresh flowers are the best decor, anyway! I also tend to feel that dark chocolate is by far the best option!
#11- um yes please. LOL
