Bathroom Remodel – Blogtember #8
In July I showed off our kitchen remodel, living room updates and the master bedroom as part of the Show and Tell Home Tour. I did share a couple of pictures from the bathroom update but wanted to take this post all the way back to the beginning.
When we moved into our house 13 years ago, this was the color palette I was working with. Our master bathroom was covered in this wallpaper and the floor was carpeted. Removing that carpet was top on my list and necessary before we moved in. My only regret was choosing tile which complemented this wallpaper.
After removing the wallpaper the floor is not exactly neutral but replacing it is not exactly in the budget. The counters were marble and, while not in horrible condition, they were a little dated and did receive a few burn marks from my curling iron along the way.
We were also in need of new faucets something terrible. The last year they were in place I lost track of how many times Keith had to replace gaskets to keep them from dripping. It was time for an update.
I decided on this granite and really did research on faucets before purchasing. My end goal now is to update in a way that will add value should we want to sell in the future but also still be functional for our family. The rectangular sinks were also a change and while I love the way they look, I will say they seem to attract particles along the sides a little more than the oval sinks did. The faucets are Delta and have been perfect.
Have you transformed a space in your home to make it your very own?

Wow that remodel looks fantastic!
It looks so good! I love knowing I'm not the only one who completes a project over time…!
I really like the granite. I'll also have to check out that candle – I've never seen pumpkin coconut but I believe I will love it because I adore both pumpkin and coconut! Have a wonderful weekend!
Looks beautiful!
So pretty. I love the flooring in the shower!
Thank you Rhonda! I think that and the shower door were my favorites…lol. My old shower door was covered in soap scum. 🙂
Thanks Laura!!
It smells amazing Kellyann!
Thanks Beth…I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Just a few more touches…..someday.
