Little Knot + Polka Dots
Rain has certainly cooled things off here in Texas and we have seen several days with the highs in the upper 80’s. This reprieve from the heat definitely has me thinking about fall!
Before I show you one way I love to add a little fall to my closet, I wanted to remind you to visit my blogiversary post from Monday and register to win the Redefine regimen from Rodan + Fields!
I love adding little pieces to my closet that bring a little fall to an otherwise summer inspired look.
I adore the half tuck on pretty much every one else but me! This top gives me a similar look but the top still flows nicely. If you are a half tucker, however, this lush top is also a winner! Adding my fave black heels and striped clutch was a no brainer.
White House Black Market skirts rarely disappoint and this fun dotted skirt has been in my closet for several years but I’ve really been trying to stretch it in different ways. Polka dot pattern play is one of my favorite patterns to mix up.
Of course it is always fun to not only mix in a little color with the dots but also grab a little animal print. The leopard hinge bracelet from Accessory Concierge is always a winner.
What is your favorite way to begin adding some fall into your closet?

I agree, that leopard bracelet from AC is terrific, I have it and LOVE it!
I wear it ALL THE TIME!!
I love the patterns you mixed, the solids that tie in nicely. You look good Mama!
Love this!!! I almost got this top now seeing it on I wish I would have!! 🙂

Just adore the flow and color of this top and you styled it with such flare!! You look fabulous and hip!!
I love that top and the bracelet. I'm seeing that shade of green everywhere lately. It must be an "it" color for fall. I love adding navy, green, brown and maroon (which I'm sure is easy for you) to my wardrobe to prepare for fall.
I am loving the weather currently! I could deal with this through September. Have a great day!
The top has a great flow. I seriously thought you had done the half-tuck til I read that you didn't! The cooler temperatures have been wonderful!
Oh my goodness, so cute! I love pairing my olive pants with my polka dot shirt, why not do it the other way around, great idea 🙂 Love those shoes!
I love olive so much! It's one of my favorite colors for Fall this year!

I grabbed in white too Jaymie…seriously love it!
Thanks you Stephanie! I am loving this top and the way it hangs just so to cover up the muffin top. 🙂
Thanks Andrea! This top is a real winner for my closet!
I wish I could get that dang half tuck down! I look ridiculous trying it! Temps have been amazing!!
I know exactly the outfit you are referring to! I'll have to show it to Kendall. She'll be honored!
So cute. I love the polka dot skirt and I still can't get over that clutch.
I just found some olive pants at Target last week Sarah….still debating but they are super cute!
Olive is seriously a color I have to force myself not to keep buying Ruth! I love it too, especially this time of year.
Thanks Stacey! I really felt great wearing this together and that is always a win.
I love when I pull together something together that looks professional but is still so comfy!
I know Beth…I have seriously love for this clutch!
I love the polka dot skirt! I am with you on the half tuck…I feel like I usually do not get it right 🙂
