National Fudge Day + Printable
I decided what better way to honor national fudge day than to share with some of my favorite people! Carly Jo is always on board for baking (and licking the bowl) so we headed to the store and grabbed 4 boxes of brownie mix.
Earlier this week, Astleigh at the Hill Collection shared a recipe for Chocolate Chip Brownie Cheesecake and I was immediately looking for a way I could make this but not devour the entire thing. Enter my fave coworkers and a perfectly timed staff meeting all on National Fudge Day. Coincidence? If you knew my boss you would think not! Ha!
I followed Astleigh’s recipe and cannot wait to serve this up for an afternoon pick me up!
We love taking sweet treats to our friends so we also cooked up a pan of brownies. Here’s the thing about baking for friends, I use to worry so much about it looking perfect or presenting it in some fancy way. Often this lead to the process either being more stressful than necessary or passing on it all together. Here’s the deal friends, have you ever seen anyone NOT like chocolate just because of the presentation?!! Sharing some brownies with friends does not have to be stressful, I mean the entire opposite of stressed is desserts so it’s totally just a given.
Check your stash of leftover birthday supplies. Pair a paper plate with a cute napkin and tada, you have a base for your brownies!
Here’s to making a few sweet memories today!
Download your printable now and get out there and share some fudge!

Those who bring chocolates are better than the best. 😀
Love this! I didn't know we celebrate this. But I would be enjoying as I have a thing for sweets.
So adorable. And seriously I could care less about the presentation. Just give me the brownies!!!
I used to stress about presentation too, then realized: do I care how something is presented if its brought to me and someone took the time to think about me? hell NO!!! Maybe I will bake some brownies today — just because! Have a great weekend my friend!!
Perfection! And, I need a sit down with you for a printable tutorial! So.incredibly.cute! You're on fire lately! Great job!
I love this so much! I love baking…tonight I'm baking a rainbow checkered cake for a certain someone's half birthday party this weekend 🙂
My Grandmother in Tennessee makes the absolute best Peanut Butter fudge! Oh how I wish we lived closer so that I could enjoy it more.
That printable is going to get some use, dear friend. I already have a few ideas of what I'm going to give some fudgey goodness for.
That printable is the cutest ever. Thanks for sharing it with us. I can't wait to share some chocolate with others. In other news I really need to do a better job of marking these food holidays down. I am seriously slacking.
I guess I need to redo the printable and take the national fudge day off..lol. Didn't think that through. Any day is good for eating chocolate!
Awesome! I should have removed the National Fudge Day notation from the printable..hmm.. Something for me to think about next time..this was my first printable link. 🙂 CAn't wait to see what you come up with!
Girl..I would die! That is my favorite. I have tried to make it like 1,896,453 times and I don't know if it's the humidity here in Texas or what but I cannot get it to set up.
Yea! Can't wait to hop over and see how that turned out!
Reminding myself I need to send you the link. 🙂
yeah…if someone shows up with chocolate I could give a crap what is holding it! haha
Yep…all the brownies! Ugh….I seriously am going to pay all fall for my spring and summer indulgences!
I was not a sweets eater when I was younger but now….give me all the chocolate! these brownies were amazing but the pie….to die for.
