Show and Tell – Favorite Pins
Time for another Show and Tell Tuesday with Andrea at Momfessionals! Today it’s all about sharing favorite pins. I have to say this time of year it’s all about starting fresh and for me this year completing a few projects around the house and eating a diet heavier on clean eating.
{Home Projects}
My kids rooms are top on my list. They both need new paint and could use some updating to make them more age appropriate.
Dillon room is not teeny and has a great closet but he could still use some additional fun storage options. I’m totally digging this industrial type shelving used in this room renovation. He actually does use a desk to study and I’m thinking incorporating some shelving along with the desk such as this might work. I also think using the desk on one side of his bed might act as a second nightstand. We are pretty sure grey and navy are the colors and I’m loving these shades. I have a dresser that could be painted so I’m thinking grey walls and navy dresser. This gallery wall would be so cool and perfect for Dillon. Although I really like the idea of this backdrop too.

Carly has the smallest room that needs the most updating. It is currently almost a fluorescent pink and she is O-V-E-R it! We have grey in this color palette too and I really am thinking of finding a common grey we can use for both rooms. She uses her desk all the time and I love the idea of an art wall but also think she will need some shelving. We will work on pulling her turquoise and coral colors in with wall art and decor. Replacing the ceiling fan with something fun is also on her list! She has a closet very similar to this with doors that open wide. I really think replacing with sliding doors is a must and we could add a full length mirror to one side as well. Using color for the doors would be fun and not too big of a commitment if she changes her mind in 5 years! Check out the board to see all of the ideas I’ve been pinning.

{Purging/Organizing}
My friend Holly has been been blogging all about the Kon Mari method and she has me convinced it really could change my life. Seriously, if you are serious at all about getting control of all the crap in your house you need to read these posts! Trust me Pin now and you can thank me later!
{Clean Eating}
My friend Katy has been inspiring me like friend do with all her Whole 30 clean eating. While I do not follow Whole 30, I love the way my body just seems to have so much more energy and stamina when I’m eating clean. Not to mention things just flow better if you know what I mean. These are some of the recipes I’ve pinned recently that I’m dying to try.

So many great ideas! I've been obsessed with all the home decor pins lately since I'm house hunting. Can't wait to test them out!
Love both kids rooms colors! I am so into grey!! I admire you for the healthy eating. Last year at this time I was rocking it like no other. All this remodeling of the kitchen has made it so hard to stay good! Aaarghhh!!!!
I love following you on Pinterest Shelley! Your pins are always so beautiful and doable! What in the world did we do before Pinterest? Cannot beat the inspiration and variety.
Home Projects are top of my list too! We are in serious need of some updating in our house. Actually that top pin you posted totally grabbed my attention for my son's room. I LOVE that silhouette map on the wall.
I can't wait to see your updated rooms for your kids. I need to check out your pinterest boards for things I could do.

Great pins! My kids need updated bedrooms, too. Following your boards for inspiration!
Love your bedroom boards! Both of my kiddos are due for an update. I feel like the girl room is going to be easy. I'm so lost with the boy room.
Love the room inspiration. That color palette is fantastic. Also, I am now starving :).
Haha….I'm so ready to start on their rooms! It's been a long time coming and I hope to have some down time this spring.
I'm just the opposite. Dillon's room seems easy but Carly Jo has tons of opinions and we have to find some way to find a happy medium!
I'm really trying to find some great pins and really think through the design before jumping in. Too many times in the past I have rushed in and regretted later.
Me either Liz…hopefully sooner than later!!
I swear it's a constant around here Erin!! i just want one room 100% complete!!
Girl….I have made tons of bad decisions decorating that I would do so differently had I had Pinterest!!
Me too Kim….grey is totally what I want right now all over. I seriously just do the best I can..I feel pretty good most days and have energy and that is what I'm trying to hold on to and not worry so much about it.
Oh Gretchen…..I go back and forth…do I want to sell and move on or do I want to continue making updates to this house. Such a hard decision!!
Great ideas!
I love the bedroom boards! I just redid my teens bedroom last year, and he loves it!
I found a pin the other day to organize my son's bath toys, and I'm sold! How do people accomplish all these amazing things?! Love these ideas 😀

One question, where do you find the time to search Pinterest? I barely have time to pin posts there let alone look for pins I like. Love the clean eating ones you picked. Determine to scope those out this weekend. Thanks for coming to my party Shelly.
This is a great list of faves! You kids are the lucky ones this go round for sure!
Haha….Girl I seriously think I have a good plan and they just continue to ask for more!!
Thanks for hosting your linkup Michelle! I am hit or miss with Pinterest. I have been on a little binge lately.
That's the trick isn't it Melissa…I can pin all day…it's execution that is the trick.
I really hope I can update their space and create something they love!
Thanks Daisy! Hope you have a super weekend.
