Halloween Touches

Fall Decor

I previously shared the simple fall decor I added to create a warm and cozy look for my home.  I was really excited to have the fall decorations out early so come October 1st a few Halloween inspired items could be added here and there.  I don’t go overboard with Halloween but this is a fun month at our house so I do like to pull in a few things.

Fall Decor

I picked up this banner at World Market last year and it worked perfectly with the rest of my decorations.  I was so excited to pull it out again this October.

Fall Decor

I was browsing Michaels a few weeks back for Carly’s birthday and found this Wicked sign and had to have it at 40% off.

Fall Decor

I found the spider branches at Pier 1 probably three or four years back and thankfully most survived our puppy Dutch last October.

Fall Decor

I just love all the Day of the Dead items and found this skull at World Market last season.  I picked up the two mason jars with led candles in the dollar spot at Target recently and they have been a fun touch.

Fall Decor

My front table is always one of my favorites to decorate.  I found the two plates last year at Michaels 50% off.  A few skulls for my vase and it is looking scary but not too overwhelming.

Fall Decor

I don’t think I thought to add the skull to the candle holder last year but I’m liking how it turned out.  The J and 6 I picked up on my trip to Round Top last week and while this will not be their permanent home I thought they added a fun touch to the fall decor for now.

Fall Decor

One of my besties gave me this plate probably 5 years ago and I always love pulling it out and thinking about her!

Fall Decor

And friends….I thought the Pumpkin Vanilla Marshmallow candle was going to be my favorite this season but oh my goodness this one smells amazing!

Here are a few fun finds I found just for you!  Just click and shop.

!function(doc,s,id){ var e, p; if(!doc.getElementById(id)) { e = doc.createElement(s); e.id = id; p = ‘//shopsensewidget.shopstyle.com/widget-script.js’; var cb = new Date().getTime(); p += ‘?cb=’ + cb; e.src = p; doc.body.appendChild(e); } if(typeof window.ss_shopsense === ‘object’){ if(doc.readyState === ‘complete’){ window.ss_shopsense.init(); } } }(document, ‘script’, ‘shopsensewidget-script’);

Hope you are having a super week!
I reorganized my linkups to hopefully make viewing a little more user friendly so hop on over here and see where I’m linking up today!

And head on over to visit Rachel and Astleigh for the Every Girl Link Up.

  1. Oh, Shelly! I love it all!! So simple and inviting, just perfect for fall! I really, really love that banner and I think your mantle is my favorite piece that you decorated! Thanks for telling me the motif of the skull! I've seen those all around town, but didn't know what to call them. I STILL have not done ANY fall or Halloween decorating in our house this year. #fallfail #halloweenfail But I'll make up for it at Christmas!

  2. I love all your decor! I have dropped the ball on decorating for Fall or Halloween this year. I am ready for November 1st when we get our Christmas stuff out!
And that candle is amazing! I picked that scent up last year and fell in love with it! I get the soap now too!
