10 Things I Say – 10 on the 10th
Good morning and happy Monday! I’m joining Jen for 10 on the 10th (on the 11th because Sunday) to share 10 things I say every day. Let’s just say it was really easy to figure out what I say as I say some of these tons. I’m sure you can easily pick which ones I’m proud to say and which ones I wish my family wouldn’t remember.
“Love you!” There is no lack of “I love you’s” going on here. Even on the days when we may not like each other to the core we say I love you alot.
“Friend”…I must start a conversation this way 200 times every single day. Whether I’m saying hey friend in person, hey friends on my insta-story or sarcastically saying friend when redirecting someone, it is definitely said alot. I definitely used this to replace hooker…which I use to say all the time!
“Have a great day!” At least I do try to start out on a positive note every single day as the kids and Keith head out of the house. I always wish them a great day.
“No Worries” is definitely my fave saying when someone is running late or maybe apologizing for not being able to perform a favor for me.
“Are you kidding me right now?” I say this probably too much; at work, in traffic, at the Chick-fil-A drive through. Anytime I encounter something to slow me down or cause a little roadblock in my day you will find me saying this.
“I can’t even” with this…food in the kids bedroom, trash beside the trash can or an unflushed toilet. Pretty much any time I run across something so crazy I cannot believe someone would actually do. I live with teens so, yeah, this comes out of my mouth often.
“I am so done!” Take note, I am never done. Whether it’s the laundry, attitudes, school or work politics or just the every day crazy that comes with being a mom and running a household there are days I feel like being done!
“Do y’all have some ideas for dinner?” I hate having to ask this question to my little friends because, seriously, I cannot even with how little my family knows what they like to eat!!
“Did someone feed Dutch?” I swear I worry more about the dog being fed and taken care of and really don’t know how many days he might be skipping a meal or being fed double. Ha!
“Praise Jesus!” Thankfully I also have plenty of days where verbally praise Jesus for things that go right; even the small stuff like no traffic.
This week is spring break for us and this year there are no fun outings planned. I’m working and Dillon has baseball so, yeah, I’m sure I’ll be saying some of these things more than others as they sit at home eating in their rooms all day. Ha!
Hope you all have a super week!
